5 Days Serengeti/Ngorongoro Tanzania Adventure Safari (from Nairobi)

Day 1: Nairobi/Arusha

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 7.30 am by a shuttle bus for a transfer to Arusha Tanzania via Namanga boarder post for immigration formalities. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, meet and greet services by our Tanzania staff. Spend the afternoon at leisure with adventure safari briefing in a Tanzania hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Arusha/Serengeti

Pick up at 9:00am from your Hotel in Arusha and depart for Serengeti National Park, en-route game drive, picnic lunch and afternoon a short game drive in Serengeti National Park, dinner and overnight, Seronera Campsite or similar. Serengeti is said to be the Tanzania park for adventure due to its unique camping sites and animal species.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park:

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of adventure safari in Serengeti National Park with an early morning, mid and afternoon game drives, all meals and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 4: Serengeti/Ngorongoro adventure

Early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. This adventure safari gives you an opportunity to view the elusive cats family. branch and depart for Ngorongoro Crater Rim, en-route game drive, dinner and overnight at Simba campsite.

Day 5: Ngorongoro/Arusha

After breakfast descend to the Crater floor for game viewing adventure, lunch at hippo pool picnic site, ascend to the rim and departure for Arusha and drop off at your Arusha hotel or connect an afternoon shuttle bus back to Nairobi.

At the closest national park to Arusha town, in northern Tanzania safari capital – Arusha National Park is a multi-faceted jewel, often overlooked by Tanzania safari travelers, despite offering the opportunity to explore a beguiling diversity of Tanzania habitats within a few hours.

The entrance gate leads into shadowy montane forest inhabited by inquisitive Tanzania blue monkeys and colourful turacos and trogons – the only place on the Tanzania northern safari circuit where the acrobatic black-and-white colobus monkey is easily seen. In the midst of the forest stands the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep, rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog. Almost all types of Tanzania animal and birdlife is present in this little known Tanzania park.

Although elephants are uncommon in Arusha National Park, and lions absent altogether, leopards and spotted hyenas are present. View the majestic snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro, only 50km away. Mount Kilimanjaro climbing neighbour, Mount Meru - the fifth highest in Africa at 4,566 m– dominates the park’s horizon. Its peaks and eastern foot slopes protected within the national park, Meru offers unparalleled views of its famous neighbour, while also forming a rewarding Tanzania hiking destination.
