Volunteer in Medical Internship:
Its our appeal to all pre-meds and pre-nursing students  to come and take this opportunity to donate their skills and time to helping others in need, while gaining hands-on medical experience and learning first hand skills about medical care in Kenya
The medical Interns work in hospitals, village based clinics, old age homes, orphanage and shelter homes to assist the staff in the treatment of patients. They can educate and guide these disadvantaged people about sanitation, hygiene, nutrition and provide first aid to people with small injuries.

The medical interns will therefore assist the doctor in the normal medical work routine e.g. taking vital signs, dressing wounds, taking patients history, counseling patients, providing assurance and moral support to patients' family, disbursing minor drugs tasks like taking vital signs, dressing wounds, administering shots, drawing blood, holding babies while they are being treated, helping to screen and organize patients, assisting staff with getting medicines.

We organize a perfect internship placement opportunities for medical students in the rural Kenya hospitals.  The medical clinics treat a wide range of conditions like malaria, colds/flu, injuries, pregnancy and childbirth.Medical Interns perform and generally helping out in whatever capacity they might need you.

The health internships we organize are open to healthcare students as well as pre-med, pre-dentistry and pre-nursing students from all over the world. As an overseas medical internship (medical students, nursing students or intern), you will work with local staff in support of the health care efforts.
