3 Days Kenya Lodge Safari :Masai Mara

Day 1: Maasai Mara

Pick up from your hotel and drive across the Rift Valley down to the Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch and thereafter an afternoon gamedrive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge/similar lodge.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

Full day experiencing the Mara magic in the Kenya's premier reserve that is an extension of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Mara reserve is the most popular in Kenya and it owes this to the astounding concentration of game within the park all the year round with the Wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. A visit to the Maasai village can be arranged at an extra cost for those who are interested. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge/similar lodge.

Day 3: Maasai Mara/Nairobi

After breakfast drive to Nairobi to arrive by lunch time.

Depart Nairobi and drive down South over the Mau Escarpment ,to Kenya's greatest concentration of game - the Maasai Mara:-  Masai Mara National reserve is situated to the west of Nairobi Kenya, On Tanzania northern boader. Masai Mara offers wonderful Kenya wildlife scenery.Among all Kenya parks ,its easiest to view the "BIG FIVE" lions,leopards,rhinos and bufallows in Masai Mara national reserve. Kenya offers a wide variety of parks and game reserves but Masai Mara is most frequently visited because of visitors can see super abundance of animals as they existed a century ago in most Kenya tourist destinations.

Masai Mara is well watered by the Mara  river,that cuts through it from north to south.The largest population of lions in Kenya live in Masai Mara.Vast herds of buffalo,zebra,Masai giraffes and wildbeasts among others roam the Masai Mara plains .The waters of the Mara river  are home to crocodiles and hippos.Masai Mara birdlife is as profuse as the Masai Mara animal life.The Kenya –Tanzania wildebeest migration occurs within Kenya and Tanzania , one of thegreatest wildlife shows on earth, between Serengeti in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya, millions of wildebeasts and zebras migrate in search of greener pastures.
