5 Days Samburu and the lakes Kenya Budget safari

Day 1: Nairobi/Samburu

After breakfast depart Nairobi at 7.30 am drive to Samburu National Reserve cross Equator, travel through changing landscapes to the rugged-semi region, though harsh but having unique species like the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy's Zebra, Beisa, oryx, gerenuk. These species are rarely found elsewhere. The bird life is especially notable. Arrive in time for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Samburu budget Camping.

Day 2: Samburu

Full day with morning and afternoon game drive in Samburu, packed lunches in the park. Optional visit to Samburu villages. Meals and overnight at Samburu budget Camping.

Day 3: samburu/Mt Kenya

After breakfast depart for Mt.Kenya arriving at Nanyuki the base hotel for lunch afternoon visit the Mau Mau caves where the freedom fighters use hide during the second world war, dinner and over in Nanyuki in a budget hotel.

Day 4: Mt. Kenya/Lake Nakuru

Depart Mt. kenya after breakfast for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch, proceed for a game drive until late afternoon, then go to your budget hotel for Dinner and overnight in Nakuru.

Day 5: L.Nakuru/Lake Baringo/ Bogoria

Leaving from Lake Nakuru after breakfast we make a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau, arriving at Lake Baringo in time for Lunch. Have an afternoon day trip to Lake Bogoira to explore the Lake Geysers and Hot spring and in good day you will view Kudus, Antelopes, Giraffes,later depart back to Baringo, Optional Boat Ride at the Lake. Overnight at Lake Baringo budget hotel.

Day 5: Lake Bogoria/Lake Naivasha/Nairobi

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha , have a Hike at Hell's Gate with picnic lunch, afterward drive to the Camp in the afternoon, you will have an Optional Sundowner boat ride to Crescent Island well known for its birdlife. Return to Nairobi,Kenya's capital city for dinner and overnight.
